The goal in life is not to live forever but to create something that will.
– Juice WRLD
Calvin Ness was 13 years old when he died from a head injury sustained during warm-ups for a baseball game. The trauma was severe and he never regained consciousness. He is remembered for his love of the game and his determined spirit.
In memory of Calvin, the family is establishing the C-will Fund for Buford Athletics with the goal of developing a robust booster program that will allow all Charlottesville City middle school students to have access to high quality, well supported school sports activities. It is our vision that with these funds, Buford Middle School Athletics will have the infrastructure, facilities, and enthusiasm to bring together our Charlottesville community for decades to come.
The family also invites others to use this space to remember Calvin, sharing photos and memories of his caring, thoughtful, while often mischievous ways. He made us feel so deeply loved. We will miss him each and every day.
